Article 5 - Rate Your Gimmick Rally Master

RATE YOUR GIMMICK RALLYEMASTER

    In each category circle the statement that best describes the Rallyemaster.

    A RALLYEMASTER ABILITY

                1. Written 10+ great creative rallyes.
                2. Written 3-4 good fun rallyes.
                3. Run 50+ rallyes, is still a novice.

    B SPELLING ABILITY

                1. Always has perfect spelling and grammar except for affect/effect.
                2. Realizes at least the Route Instructions must be spelled correctly.
                3. Thinks you should have to 'buy a vowel'.

    C INTELLIGENCE

                1. Interfaces with computers.
                2. Can operate a photocopier.
                3. Swears at Walkman.

    D MEMORY

                1. Remembers to order trophies a month before the rallye.
                2. Remembers to put up coursemarkers the day before the rallye.
                3. Is printing the General & Route Instructions at the start.

    E COOPERATION

                1. Expects his/her workers to, 'just show up'.
                2. Expects the club to provide him/her with trophies and CP signs.
                3. Expects the prechecker to write the critique for him/her.

    F SIGNS

                1. Makes sure all signs are very visible, and have reflective tape.
                2. Makes sure no street signs are hidden by trees.
                3. Makes excuse "Those signs were there last year!"

    G SANITY

                1. Knows anything not specifically prohibited in the GIs, some idiot will
                try on the rallye.
                2. Thinks "Don't violate any laws" in the GIs should cover any problem.
                3. Thinks "The rallyemaster is always right" or "Our answer final" in the
                GIs will prevent protests.

    H PRE-CHECK

                1. Makes all changes requested by the prechecker.
                2. Says: "I should have made the change the prechecker demanded."
                3 Asks: "What's a precheck?"

    I PROTESTS

                1. Policy is: If it isn't perfect, rescore all cars.
                2. Policy is: If it isn't obvious, just gives it to the protester.
                3. Policy is: How did the protester handle MY last protest?

    SCORING - Add up the numbers you have circled and compare to the following:

        8 or less - You still can't add!
        9 - 13 - Excellent, have 'em write a championship rallye.
        14 - 18 - Good, let him/her try another local Rallye.
        19 - 23 - Ok, how about asst. rallyemaster on a rallye school.
        24 - 27 - Qualified for Corvette gimmick rallyemaster.
